In a swift police action, Bhingar police in Ahmednagar arrested a man for allegedly stalking, threatening, and harassing a young woman after she rejected his advances.
According to police officials, the accused had been repeatedly following the woman, making unwanted contact, and issuing threats, causing her severe mental distress. Despite clear refusal, the harassment reportedly continued, forcing the victim to approach the police.
Based on the complaint, police immediately registered a case and tracked down the accused within hours. He was taken into custody and booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code related to criminal intimidation, stalking, and harassment.
